Overview
The job definition of a Leader is the same for all three sections; Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.
1st Wokingham interpretation
- Attend section meeting, or ensure coverage by another warranted leader
- Run the section meeting or delegate parts to another warranted leader or helper
- Arrange section programme for each term
- Arrange and attend summer camp
- Collect term subscriptions or group event fees and forward to Treasurer

- Warranted position so can help at any of the section meetings
- Attend meetings of all the leaders in the group (Group Leaders Meeting)
- Attend, and lead section, at St. George's Day Parade
- Attend Group Exec Meetings (Thursday every 7 [ish] weeks)
- Provide term report for FirstNews newsletter
- Attend District Leaders meetings in a rota with Assistant Section Leaders (1 or 2 a year)
- Provide support to other sections where required
- Support the Exec Committee by attending Group events and providing constructive comment
