• Maintain an inventory of the Hut
• Purchase any new equipment or materials after getting group exec permission
• Reclaim monies spent by submitting detailed invoices
• Maintain a logging system for all emergency lighting
• Maintain a logging system for all emergency fire equipment
• Ensure that the fire equipment is professionally checked every year
• Maintain a list of all outstanding building repairs
• Ensure repairs are carried out by self, assistant, other helpers or where necessary by professionally certified supplier
• Attend Group Exec meetings and give a report
• Once every 2 or 3 years organise a complete spring clean of the hut

• Stand in for Maintenance person when they are unavailable

Some maintenance tasks take a lot of time or need more than 1 or 2 people to perform. When this occurs we need to call on helpers to assist. This is most noticeable when we carry out the complete spring clean of the hut.
